International Development Week 2023 Kickoff
Celebrate Manitoba's contributions to International Development and the Sustainable Development Goals alongside elected officials and invited guests! Hear from Winnipegger and Save the Children Canada CEO Danny Glenwright, watch the debut performance of the 2023 Voices for Change spoken word piece, and connect with Manitoba's International Development community.
The Kickoff will begin at 11:45 AM on Tuesday, February 7 with the Proclaimation of International Development Week by the Province of Manitoba. The program will also include MCIC's Go for the Goals contest winners and their redesigned $20 bills, and stories of innovation and transformation in global development.
Light refreshments will be served, and the program will conclude at 1:15 PM.
Attendees must RSVP by February 2 to be included on the guest list.
Please note that due to the security protocols at the Manitoba Legislative Building, all attendees must register in advance of the event (using the link above) and will need to provide photo ID at time of arrival.
