Local Brews + Global Views with ADRA

Join us for an online edition of Local Brews + Global Views on Thursday, November 25th — this time, for a conversation with Peggy Caesar of ADRA, a humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, working to end extreme poverty around the world.

Learn about the unique challenges people with albinism face in Tanzania, and how this program is working to save lives, reduce suffering, and maintain dignity through accessible health sessions and distribution of protective gear.

Bring your coffee & questions and join us online for another 'from home' edition of Local Brews + Global Views, as Peggy leads this important discussion about the marginalizing effects of albinism on children and what ADRA is doing to help.

PS: It’s World Children’s Day on November 20th, so join us to learn how children’s lives were improved by this project, as we celebrate the anniversary of the United Nations adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We will be using Zoom to share this event online, and participants will receive a link by email after registering. Need to join by phone instead? Register and you'll receive the phone-in information.
