Cooperation Canada’s Repository of Greening Tools and Resources: Cooperation Canada’s recent initiative, Greening CSOs, involved raising awareness of, “environmental mainstreaming and climate-conscious operations, identified and documented CSO experiences in this sphere, and consulted Canadian CSOs on the barriers and opportunities for engaging in green operations.” One of the outputs of this initiatives is a repository of greening tools to support the sector.
SDG Academy: “The SDG Academy creates and curates free massive open online courses and educational materials on sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals.” Abbreviated as MOOCs, Massive Open Online Courses from the SDG Academy are free to participate, and are taught by subject-area experts. Many of the courses are self-paced and can be started at any time.
Philanthropy and the SDGs: Practical Tools for Alignment Does your workplace have a donation, charitable giving, or philanthropy program? Align your workplace philanthropy with your mission statement and the SDGs for the most relevance and greatest impact. The Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ Philanthropy and the SDGs: Practical Tools for Alignment guide walks you through a clearly explained 3-step process to align your philanthropy to your mission statement in a way that works for your triple bottom line and for the SDGs.
United Nations International Days: “International days are occasions to educate the general public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity.” The list is organized by month, with links to landing pages containing more information for each day.

Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) Map: “Standards Map is one of the most detailed and comprehensive sustainability standards databases in the world. This user-friendly tool can assist large companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the development of a roadmap to incorporate sustainability requirements demanded by international buyers.” With the map, you’re able to sort VSS by sector, compare standards, and even do initial assessments of your company.
170 Daily Actions to Transform our World: This guide lists 170 actions, 10 for every Sustainable Development Goal that everyday people of all ages can take to work toward a more sustainable future. This is a great place to start for anyone who wants to be involved in sustainable development and global citizenship.
