World Toilet Day: In Conversation with Wins Bridgman
Join us on November 18th for a virtual conversation with Wins Bridgman! Bridgman is a leader in public washroom design and has advocated for accessible and inclusive public washrooms in Winnipeg and across Canada. Learn about the importance of public toilet access and how these safe spaces lead to socially inclusive societies.
Bridgman will take us through his involvement in the Pop-Up Public Toilet Initiative that brought accessible and secure washrooms to Winnipeg’s downtown core in 2018. Hear what progress has been made since on local public toilet initiatives in Winnipeg and what still needs to be done.
BridgmanCollaborative are the Architects for the City of Winnipeg permanent public washrooms that will be complete in January 2022 on the Thunderbird site near the corner of Higgins and Main, working in conjunction with multiple community stakeholders.
