daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and other sexual outlaws

This spring and summer, Global College is hosting daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and other sexual outlaws, a powerful photo exhibition presented in collaboration with Inter Pares and the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC). This exhibit showcases the exchange of knowledge and activism between generations of women.
Explore the powerful stories of daughters, mothers, and grandmothers from El Salvador to Bangladesh to the Philippines who are defending rights, challenging injustices, and shaping sexual and reproductive health rights worldwide.
The exhibition is open from March 10 to August 1 at Global College (520 Portage Avenue), University of Winnipeg. Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday, but as the space is also used for classes and meetings, please check the Global College website for the most up-to-date hours.
Open House Event
As part of the ongoing exhibit daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and other sexual outlaws, we invite you to a special open house event hosted at Global College.
The open house will take place on Thursday, May 15, and will run from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This evening will include complimentary refreshments and an engaging program from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, where David Bruer from Inter Pares will share insights into the project and the powerful stories behind the photographs.
This event offers an opportunity to explore the exhibit and connect with others who are passionate about global activism and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
