Global Solidarity in the Age of AI

The Inter-Council Network (ICN) is hosting a two-part series, “Global Solidarity in the Age of AI: Risks, Responsibilities, and Opportunities for Civil Society” that we think you'll want to join! Both parts will be hosted on Zoom so you can participate from anywhere in the country and from any room of your house.

Part 1 will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 12:00 - 1:30 PM ET.

Part 2 will take place on Wednesday, Octover 22, 2025 at 12:00 - 1:30 PM ET.

As artificial intelligence (AI) rapidly reshapes our world, its impact on global development and international cooperation is profound and growing. From humanitarian response systems to global health and climate data, AI holds the potential to support more equitable and effective solutions. But it also raises urgent questions:

Who designs AI systems?
Whose data is used?
Who benefits?
What does justice look like in a digitally driven world?
And how can we ensure AI technologies support global solidarity rather than reinforce inequality?
